Cinema History

The Midtown Cinema was founded in November 2001 by Allen Brown and Todd Shill. For seven years, Mr. Brown brought the most innovative independent and foreign films to Harrisburg and Central PA. In October 2008, Greenworks Development LLC bought the Cinema and continues to expand on the vision Mr. Brown started. Click here for a list of every film that was ever shown at Midtown Cinema.
